We have been informed by Student Planning and Assessment that, with immediate effect, they will produce the following letters for students:
Student status letters for current students for such purposes as travel in the EU, proof of registration for authorities in their home country, student discounts etc. This confirms the start and end dates and the programme of study for which the student is registered.
- Council tax exemption.
- Post study work visa letters for students who have had a pass list issued.
- Third party verification of degrees awarded to students who have completed – e.g. screening agencies, employers, other HEIS (signed consent from the student is required).
- Letters confirming the successful completion of a course and the degree awarded e.g for a potential employer or for recognition of the qualification in their home country. These are often required before the parchment is received.
Any requests for letters should be made by emailing verification.requests@spa.ac.uk
Therefore the Masters Office will not be issuing any student status letters. If you have recently completed a letter request form then you should forward this to verification.requests@spa.ac.uk
